Prayer...
"Rees Howells: Intercessor" by Norman Grubb
Biography, intercession, excellent testimony to power of prayer
in the world market place, geo-political arena. Set in Wales,
England in the early to mid point of the 20th Century. A great
premise to understand Intercession. Truly a wide chasm separates
intercession from spiritual warfare.
"The Isaiah Effect" by Gregg Braden
Decoding the Lost Science of Prayer and Prophecy
A well grounded work on the effect of prayer across multiple religious
lines. Investigates quantum physics and the possibility of parallel
universes. This book is a must read for any person who wants

Spiritual Warfare...

Applied prayer in spiritual warfare an excellent guide. First
half exceptionally good and easy to apply to understanding spiritual warfare.
"Destined to Overcome" by Paul Billheimer
Exercising Your Spiritual Authority
Are you tired of trying to battle Satan in your own strength? Learning to rely on God's strength, not your own,
is the key to spiritual victory. This practical handbook, written by a veteran soldier in God's army,
will help you recognize Satan's strategies and the weapons you have available through Christ to defeat him.
"How to Try a Spirit" by Mary Garrison
One of the most powerful tools I have yet discovered in getting
to the root of specific manifestations and what spirit is responsible.
Thorough and yet simple research into specific demonic spirits
named in the scriptures and what actions can be credited to said
spirit. (To often a person in prayer is binding what they believe
to be a spirit, but it is only the manifestation of what the scriptures
refer to as the Strongman.) This book will teach you how to recognize
spirits by their fruit. Excellent!
"Redeeming the land" by Gwen Shaw
A Bible study on dislodging evil spirits, breaking the curse and restoring God's blessing upon the land.
Excellent study, accurate on redeeming the land from the curse
that results from the shedding of innocent blood. Thought provoking
and insightful. A must for the prayer warrior to understand.
"The Bible, the Supernatural, and the Jews" by McCandlish Phillips
A wonderfully documented account of the forces at work in the
world. The propensity for either good or bad in the human. In
particular this work documents the tremendous ability of the Jewish
people to be used greatly in the causes that they would give themselves
to
for good or evil.
"Transference of Spirits" by Alexander Ness
Spiritual Warfare and the Spirit World
Very insightful and informative account of the transference of
spirit that can take place between individuals during counseling
and at psychological constructs. A must for understanding the
dynamics and dangers in ill advisedly entering into certain relationships
without prayer and foresight.
"Biblical Demonology" by Merrill F. Unger
A Study of Spiritual Forces at Work Today
This is a thorough investigation into the biblical account of demon activity.
An exhaustive work. Excellent resource.
"Sun Tzu's Art of War" edited by General Hanzhang
The Modern Chinese Interpretation
Written 2500 years ago by Sun Tzu regarding warfare in ancient China.
(Mandatory reading at one time for all Soviet Officers). Great reading for spiritual
strategy and tactics, great reading for understanding of conflict
in the marketplace.
"Principles of War" by Jim Wilson
A handbook on strategic evangelism
This book gives a comparison between literal warfare and spiritual warfare. Many
tactics and strategies utilized in combat have a spiritual parallel to be exercised in prayer application.

Bible Studies...
"The Treasury of David: Spurgeon's Classic Work on the Psalms" by Dr. C. H. Spurgeon
This paperback is a condensation of one of the greatest, most inexhaustible gold mines ever written on the book of Psalms.
Dr. Spurgeon drew from Jewish, Christian and church history, compiling thousands of authors to
lay down a foundation that solid Old Testament and New Testament theology. This is the very best devotional
and expository study. If one chooses to dive into the depths of these 150 Psalms, one's life will
never be the same.
I would recommend this book to any serious student of Holy Writ.
"What the Bible Teaches" by R. A. Torrey
A thorough and comprehensive study of what the Bible has to say concerning the great
doctrines of which it teaches. In this 535 page treasure of Bible doctrine, Dr. Torrey
covers six great themes that run through the whole Bible form Genesis to Revelation.
1) What the Bible teaches about God; 2) About Christ; 3) About the Holy Spirit;
4) About man; 5) About angels; 6) About evil spirits, the devil and satan.
If anyone wishes to understand the foundational basics for Christendom and Christianity, this is the book.
Dr. Torrey lets Scripture speak for itself which I feel is how all of us should approach any research dealing
with the Word of God. Great book!

Interesting Reading...
Lost Shepherd: A Moving Novel of Life in the Spirit by Agnes Sanford
This novel incorporates all of the tactics and strategies of prayer
from both an ecclesiastical understanding and a more "grass
roots" or home grown persuasion. It is an old fashioned romantic
thriller with "that woman" the "healer" down
the street who has people coming and going all times of the night
and day, to the minister of All Saints, who cannot understand
why 'that woman' has success at seeing people healed and he doesn't.
A must read! You will come away empowered.
"A Way Through the Wilderness" by Jamie Buckingham
Following the footsteps of Moses, find the way through your personal wilderness
A book compiled around multiple packing trips into the wilderness
of the Sinai.. An exciting look at life in the Sinai today, much
unchanged from what life was like for those Hebrew children of
the Exodus. This isn't much about prayer, but it is about finding
your way through the wilderness experiences of your life. At the
same time it plants a desire to experience personally the wilderness
of the Sinai.
